精緻點心

點心廊 久別重逢,已經好一段時間沒有光顧這店子了。昔曰要排長龍,或是久候一小時,然而,今曰輕鬆入座。 可能是食客唔多的關係,感覺空間感十足,沒有太逼狹的感覺。 先選定了比較特別的荔枝玫瑰茶。玫瑰茶入口順滑,有著淡淡玫瑰花香和荔枝的幽香,齒????留香。 不想費神選擇,就點選了招牌的Dim sum platter$248/創作六式拼盤。這拚盤有六款推介點心:金箔墨汁蟹粉鮮蝦餃、海膽鳳眼餃、鮑魚雞粒酥、鹹水角、煎堆仔和燕窩蛋撻,每款兩件,共十二件。 金箔墨汁蟹粉鮮蝦餃 Har gow, prawns, crab roe, gold leaf 這蝦餃賣相有型,以黑色的墨汁皮配上金箔,感覺高貴。蝦餃皮厚薄適中,當中的鮮蝦爽口鮮美,加埋鮮甜的蟹粉,就是鮮美爽甜,好吃。 海膽鳳眼餃 Sea urchin, minced prawn dumplings 這鳳眼餃以鮮蝦入饌,配上海膽,味道是蝦餃的進化版,既有蝦的鮮味又有海膽甜味,是感覺新鮮的味道。 原隻鮑魚雞粒酥 Abalone and chicken puffs 這鮑魚雞粒酥入口脆香鬆化。一咬蠔汁雞粒餡料一湧而出,而那Q版鮑魚口感爽彈,一濃一爽,尤為合拍。 黃金啤梨鹹水角 Deep fried sticky rice dumplings, pork and shrimps 這鹹水角造成可愛,是啤梨的樣子,味道和一般鹹水角無異,師傅而炸得乾身唔油膩是幾ok的。 另一炸點-黑白芝麻流心煎堆仔也相當恰意。 Crispy glutinous ball, dark and white sesame煎堆仔炸得脆香煙韌,流心芝麻饀香口又甜美,甜蜜香軟,唔會太甜膩,不錯吧。 一口燕窩蛋撻 Mini egg tarts, birds nest賣相高貴,燕窩堆得像小山。旦撻鬆化香甜,充滿旦香,加上貴氣的燕窩,真的香甜又養顏。 鮑汁花膠撈飯$88 Tossed jasmine rice, fish maw, abalone sauce 本來以為這撈飯會好寡,原來只要有鮑汁,加埋花膠、菜粒,就是簡單的材料,已經濕潤鮮美,不錯。 雖然已經到訪幾次,但味道依然有水準,可算是心水食店,有空再訪。

Dim sum to its perfection

This is a lovely dim sum restaurant at the heart of Kowloon. Dim Sum Gallery is in one of the busiest buildings in Mong Kok. It is also a good place to sample the traditional Cantonese delicacy. The menu offers an extensive combination of old-fashioned and creative options. Everything is top-notch. Decor is cozy and service is unbeatable. Price is a bit high. Reservation recommended.

All day fine dim sums !

Delicious, wonderfully handcrafted, nicely garnished. Not limited to "yum cha" noon time, but all day fine dim sums! A mix of traditional classic and fusion dim sums , namely 12 folds "Har Gow" (shrimp dumplings) with bamboo shoot tips, "Siu Mai" (Pork dumplings) with an amazing "built-in" lava flow quail eggs, Spring rolls with sea urchin toppings, Deep fried wagyu dumplings. Especially impressed with two : Rice crackers topped with black fish roe (黑魚籽脆脆糯米) ~$ 48 Crispy rice crackers with fillings of Chinese ham, dried shrimps and dried scallops. Chewy, crunchy and yummiest with black fish roe topping. Steamed rice rolls, turnip, dried scallops (金瑤柱脆蘿蔔絲腸粉)~$58 Steamed rice rolls topped with crispy dried scallops and shredded turnip deep fried in rice paper wrappings. Great colour, flavour , & taste uplifted with home made lobster soup based soya sauce.
