A Place to go to.......... Again and Again

We were eating at Goodfellas several times now and everybody was impressed with the quality of the food and the attention to detail. The first thing that came to mind when walking through the door was........yes, here I want to eat. Cosy, not pretentious and you just get the feeling of coming home. The various food choices are absolutely adequate ,meaning everyone can find something to his/her liking. The mixed appetizer platter, the Pasta with asparagus are just outstanding. But for me the Steak Rossini was the absolute highlight. Perfectly done with a flavourful piece of fois gras on top and a sauce to die for. Chef Antonio knows what he is doing and his love for cooking shows in his dishes. The staff at Goodfellas is friendly, attentive and highly professional. I have to point out one person and that is Joy. She made the whole group laugh and provided first class service with attention to everbodies wishes, that left nothing to be desired. Joy has this easygoing professionalism that you can not learn. ( You have it or you dont ) Extremely knowledgable about the food and wine they serve, she can help you make your stay at Goodfellas a memorable one. If you want some really good italian food and wine in Shanghai.......... there is NO way around Goodfellas. Just my humble opinion

Can’t wait to eat it again

In town for the weekend and heard this was great pizza. Amazing pizza and huge bread sticks. Great atmosphere. Cannoli was amazing. Going back tomorrow to get a whole pie to bring back home.

Review

I went here tonight with some friends. I got the gnocchi pasta which was delicious, along with the sangria. Everything tasted great and was filling! The waitress was so nice and it was my first patio experience of the season. I’ve been in the area many times but I had never gone here before. Very satisfied with my meal. :)

Fantastic restaurant in shanghai! I have been at this place first time with my girls ????it’s really one of my favourite place here! You must try Salomon and risotto it’s really so delicious! And if you like some sweet^^ try tiramisu
