The Langham, Hong Kong

I’ve stayed at the Langham many times and have always found the quality of both product and service to be great. This time was an extended stay and the staff went the extra mile to make my two weeks feel like home. Everyone from the front desk, room service, Club lounge, and especially concierge made me feel so welcome and looked after. Agnes welcomed me on arrival and I was surprised with an upgrade to a gorgeous room with a waiting bottle of champagne. Room service was always delivered promptly and food was always hot and fresh. We recently enjoyed another long weekend staycation at The Langham, our second since this past summer. Everything went very well, meeting expectations we have of this 5 star property in TST. Again reservations were made directly through The Langham website, where promotion deals are being made for locals to reserve staycation packages at attractive rates. Booking confirmations were emailed immediately, check-in was completed smoothly and timely upon our arrival and we were up to our room in less than 10 minutes. Tasteful Christmas decorations in the lobby made for a more atmospheric visit this time. Our room was the same category as our last stay and very similar all the way around. Tasteful decor and furnishing along with a soft and very comfortable mattress were found. TV, safe, kettle, fridge, hair-dryer, ironing board all present and worked just fine. As did the A/C, lighting, wifi. Bathroom is spacious with separate shower and tub, plenty of space for luggage. It was another very nice room and stay experience at The Langham. Note that the hotel has gym, pool and standard concierge services if required. They also have several good dining venues and a great lobby lounge (Palm Court) and bar (Artesian). Location is just outside the TST MTR entrance and near several large shopping malls. The Star Ferry, Avenue of Stars promenade and HKMOA are no more than 5 minutes away as well. Overall, we were again very pleased with our stay at The Langham Hotel. This is a great property for locals to try and experience while they continue to offer well priced staycation packages. We hope to take advantage of these promotions again in the new year if possible. …
