Nice lobster meal

My wife loves seafood, especially lobster, we picked this restaurant for its lobster set. Lobster Bisque Lobster Beetroot Salad - this salad has the perfect balance of sweet and salty from the beetroot and lobster. Super healthy and tastes good. Flaming Lobster Pizza - first of all, I love the presentation of this dish, it’s literally flaming! I will say that it does taste very cheesy and savoury. There’s a lot of lobster on it. Lobster Mac & Cheese is amazing, it’s so creamy, rich in flavor with an authentic lobster taste! Banana brownie in a pan Salty Point - Expresso latte, rum, kailua, sea salt, caramel. I love the taste of expresso and strong rum, mixed alcohol and coffee, need that to boost up my energy. Strawberry Bellingham - Prosecco, strawberry puree, lemon juice. My wife loves the prosecco with slight strawberry taste. Matches with the strong taste of lobster.

開心星期五Happy Friday lunch

來到星期五,當然要來一個Happy Friday Lunch 放鬆一下。 朋友吃過the point 覺得pizza 及小食都不錯,一於嚟試吓。 先來兩杯飲品 Mojito lychee $68 Rum , soda ,mint leave , mint leaves 配合荔枝味,好有夏天的感覺,很解渴。 Strawberry ice cream float$48 Strawberry purée ,vanilla ice cream, soda 很適合打卡,外表好美,杯底有士多啤梨果蓉,很足料。 Truffle fries $78 黑松露芝士蛋黃醬薯條 對於兩個薯條控,當然絕對不會放過熱辣辣的薯條,賣相很好,薯條都係新鮮炸的,還有拉絲芝士。 棒棒雞翼配蜜糖燒烤醬$88 Chicken lollipops Wings with honey barbecue sauce 棒棒雞很驚喜,外脆雞肉很多汁嫩滑,點燒烤汁很開胃。 Carbonara 9” $130 卡邦拿拉Pizza 九吋pizza剛剛好,芝士份量好多,中間還有流心雞蛋,薄餅邊好香脆。

原來PIZZA 都可以是美味的甜品

最近荃灣有新商場開幕,我和朋友便去湊下熱鬧 ,行到肚餓便看看商場指示牌有甚麼新餐廳可以試,赫然發現,同事曾推介過一間位於銅鑼灣由主打自家製作手工PIZZA的餐廳居然在荃區開了分店,餐廳裝修時尚,座位開揚寛敞,一場來到,當然要試試。 餐牌上除了PIZZA,還有小食、意粉,意大利飯、湯、甜品、及特式飲品。PIZZA 種類繁多,配料獨特,款款都想試,真是很難才下到決定呢。 LOBSTER BISQUE 龍蝦湯 $78 質地濃稠,富龍蝦鮮味,湯中還有龍蝦肉,增加口感 WHITE WINE CLAMS 白酒煮大蜆 $118 蜆肉粒粒飽滿,厚肉彈牙,鮮味十足,用這種大蜆配白酒煮,才有嚼口;白酒汁中加了少許香蒜辣椒,醒神惹味,與蜆同煮簡直絶配。 SQUID INK & SEAFOOD RISOTTO 墨魚汁海鮮意大利飯 $148 用海鮮湯餚過的意大利飯份外鮮味,軟硬度剛好,很合香港人口味;虎蝦新鮮彈牙,墨魚汁雖然令牙齒變黑,但我還是愛墨魚汁那種獨有的海鮮味道。 SLOW COOKED DUCK BREAST PIZZA (9”) 慢煮鴨胸配意大利藍芝士pizza $124 自家製作的手工PIZZA,即叫即造,熱辣辣上枱,未食已經聞到陣陣香味。 TOPPING 有慢煮鴨胸、意大利藍芝士、合桃、洋葱及炸大葱絲。藍芝士本身味濃,聞起來有股特別味道,但當咀嚼一刻我機乎忘記有用上藍芝士這種材料;可能同嫩滑的鴨胸起了化學作用,十分溶合。另外,餅底帶有麥香味,口感煙韌,不會乾,邊位又焗得很脆,明顯比其他餐廳好食好多,後來我們問總廚,原來他們的PIZZA是用火山石窯以高溫在幾分鐘內快速烤焗而成,所以仍能保持到食物濕潤及原味;另外PIZZA上還淋了一款酸酸甜甜的汁,令鴨胸更惹味,亦令人聯想起一款中菜,總廚不諱言靈感是來自一款傳統中菜,好奇的朋友大可來餐廳試試,看君能否估出是那一款中國菜。 BANANA HEAVEN PIZZA $72 這款甜品是總廚極力推薦,而用pizza製作的甜品我還是第一次試。 面層有半溶帶點焦香的的綿花糖、香蕉、 杏仁片、朱古力醬、再放了一球雲呢拿雪糕,Pizza帶微温,連同經烤過的香蕉及所有配料一同入口,冷熱交融,甜度適中,與煙韌的 pizza 味道居然如此合拍,真令人拍案叫絶。 TIRAMISU AFFOGATO $58 將濃縮的意式咖啡淋上雪糕上,連同中層的手指餅、底層的意大利忌廉芝士混和一起吃,咖啡的苦澀味稍稍中和了雪糕的甜味,令味道得以平衡,本身喜歡咖啡的朋友不容錯過。 「The point」 自家創作的 pizza ,揉合中西元素,風味獨特,用料上盛,難怪同事經常推介。 PS : 餐廳最近放了一部棉花糖機在舖外,客人等位時可看著棉花糖如何運作打發時間,又可以嚐到蘋果味棉花糖,真是一舉兩得。

美味的聲音

平日經過The Point都人山人海,今日weekday特登等office lunch hour過了才去吃。環境不錯,樓底高有空間感,位處鬧市中的小街,令到佢更有特色。Set lunch 2 courses/$108, Set lunch salad 烤南瓜黑松露沙律份量都唔少,松露香味和南瓜甜好夾,仲有松子!CARNIVORE PIZZA有辣肉腸、意大利辣腸、火腿、墨西哥辣椒、燒烤醬,pizza好足料,芝味濃郁,肉都好多,批邊夠脆,極滋味,愛吃pizza的人不可錯過!Drinks upgrade +$14, Hot latte 值得upgrade,很不錯。White wine clams ($118) fresh clams with chilli and garlic in white wine broth, 蜆肉很大隻,少少辣,白酒味很香,幾惹味。唔知係米蜆鹹,令到味道鹹左少少。Spaghetti pescatora ($198) fresh clams, mussels, calamari, salmon and king prawn with herbed tomato sauce,海鮮份量不少,賣相吸引。香草蕃茄汁很好吃,是新鮮做的,意粉都吸收了醬汁,味道很鮮。
