Great steak with beautiful views!!

The steak is fantastic although we were disappointed they didn’t have any 250 aged tomahawks left. Beautiful steaks that were cooked to perfection. Service was good and the city view at night was stunning. Definitely on the expensive side but good for a splurge. You know it’s going to be amazing when they bring out a box of steak knives to select your weapon of choice for the night. The seafood soup was ok. Not the best I’ve had.

Fantastic steak!

Wonderful steakhouse located at the Fairmont Nanjing. Lovely design. Great service. All dishes are great. Steak is a miracle! Good wine list. We had a wonderful evening here.

Great place

It is the best place in nanjing for a steak! The place has good atmosphere and great meal. The staff is very well trained and always helpful.

Fantastic MEAT !!

Best Steak you will find in Nanjing possibly china. After many nights of Chinese food I was ready for something different. I was so happy to find a home away from home and yes the manager is from Vancouver. The Steak was cooked to perfection and the whole meal was fantastic. Great Job !

Great Steak

If you fancy a change from Chinese food, I can definitely recommend this restaurant for a great steak and the trimmings, they served imported beef from US and UK, cooked to perfection with some wonderful added touches.

A superb experience

The Vancouver Grill is inside the Fairmont Hotel in Jianye District (very near Olympic Stadium) in Nanjing on the 37th floor. It is a high end steakhouse and features beef from Australia & Canada with many unique complimentary dishes. I have dined here 3 times and have a fantastic experience each time. I am a beef guy and would say that this as good a steak as you can get in China prepared correctly and the beef handled well. The salads and soups (the lobster bisque is a must-try) are great tasting and are dazzling displays. Service is well done and there always seems to be an unexpected treat, with the chef having personally visited my table each meal. There are no complaints, but those coming ought to be aware this is not downtown Nanjing (although walking distance from metro and easy to get taxis here with hotel’s help) and that the price is reasonable for this experience, but not a low-price meal. Highly recommend for business dinner, date night, a special dinner, or if you just want some good beef.
